Selective Demolition
To reduce coast zone impacts, this home was built in the same footprint as an existing barn. The original barn was likely standing for nearly 100 years with two newer shed additions off each side. We retained part of the structure as a garage. The new home would require all new foundations.

The vision incorporated the partial removal of the barn. Many mysteries were uncovered!
Reuse Recycle
The wood was all retained, organized, stockpiled and repurposed in the new building, where appropriate.
